Founder, Registered BAS Agent
With over 35 years of bookkeeping experience and full BAS Agent registration, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to every client I work with.
After a long career in the accounting industry, Kate founded Serenity Bookkeeping Solutions over a decade ago to focus on helping small businesses get their books in order and keeping them there.

Serenity specialises in supporting businesses that are feeling overwhelmed or have fallen behind with their accounts. A “rescue job” is our favourite kind of challenge—there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the relief and confidence our clients feel when everything is up to date, compliant, and under control.

Kate's goal is to make bookkeeping simple, stress-free, and efficient, so business owners can get back to doing what they do best—running their business.
Jo Lawther
Bookkeeper, Registered BAS Agent
Jo is a highly experienced and versatile bookkeeper with more than 20 years of expertise supporting businesses across a wide range of industries.
A registered BAS Agent and holder of a Diploma of Business, Jo specialises in full-function bookkeeping, payroll, compliance, financial reporting, and system improvements for small to medium enterprises.
Throughout her career, Jo has earned a strong reputation for accuracy, efficiency, and a solutions-focused mindset.
Guided by transparency, accountability, Jo has a genuine passion for helping businesses operate smoothly. A valued member of the Serenity team, she consistently delivers accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that enables informed decision-making and sustainable business growth.
Lauren Gallie
Bookkeeper, BAS Agent under supervision
Lauren has had an extensive career in business operations and office management, and after starting her first business as a Virtual Assistant she soon recognised that many business owners needed more than administrative support—they needed someone they could trust with their finances.

To gain further experience in the world of bookkeeping, Lauren now brings her skills and experience to Serenity Bookkeeping Solutions, helping clients stay organised, compliant, and in control.
